today was a good day!

~ got my tuition fee settled.
~ dropped by the nearest walk-in clinic
~ finally registered for the school year
~ cleaned my desk
~ got my visa card
~ threw old stuff from school
~ did the laundry (!!!)
~ got my bus pass for the year
~ got an agenda from school
~ decorated my huge binder

i did all of those despite of waking up at past noon.

i'm actually shocked that i accomplished a lot today. it helps when you break down what you have done throughout the day. it either makes you feel good that you spent it good or the other way.

almost ready for school. as i mentioned, i already decorated my binder. i kinda went crazy on stickers. i know stickers can be expensive, but i really found good deals in the walk-in clinic's drugstore. they were doing a renovation sale and everything was just on sale. everything was really dirty cheap to the point that you feel bad for those labourers who made the product.

although i'm a smart shopper ie. i really just buy when stuff are on sale, i always think about the people who made the thing. they worked hard for it. they put their blood and sweat to produce it and sell it, but here i am waiting for it to go on sale. i almost feel like i don't acknowledge or give credit to their work.

i think this is getting too deep for stickers. i know it's an exaggeration that people put in their blood and sweat to my little stickers, but still!

maybe i should post some pictures of my binder. i even put a sticker on my iPod. it's funny cuz i felt like a kid all over again. i wasn't very privileged to lavish on fancy stickers before, so i guess what i did on my binder can be explained by that.

btw, i also finished the gigantic book that i was reading called "Caroline's Sister". it was really fun to read. it was interesting and 'highly readable' as what the reviewers of the book had described it. it was just really a fun book about life, family, school, career, boys, boys, boys (!!!)

i'm about to start this book called "Taking Flight", which was given by my mom. actually it's just from the hotel. guests often leave books because it's a hassle to bring it back to their place if they have finished it already. that's alright, i'm not complaining because hello, i'm getting free stuff!

that's all for now folks! good luck with starting school!

ps. i might sing during orientation week while my sister play the guitar. i'm really nervous!! i asked her if she could ask her friend, James, if he could duet with me. that way, i will be less nervous. you know? wish me luck!

pps. what song to sing?
